About Chester-le-Street Leisure Centre
Chester-le-Street Leisure Centre boasts a cardio and strength gym and weights room, two swimming pools, a steam room, studio, spinning studio, two squash courts and an indoor soft play area for kids.
Planned Partial Closure – Essential Maintenance
To allow essential maintenance work in the changing village at Chester‑le‑Street Leisure Centre, including replacing flooring in several key areas, parts of the facility will be temporarily unavailable.

Gym
Whether you’re new to fitness or a regular user, the gym at Chester-le-Street offers a variety of equipment including cardio, strength and free weights. The site also has Tanita body scales which can help you track ten different measurements, like muscle mass, to support your fitness journey. Our friendly team are also on hand to offer advice and motivation to help you reach your goals.

Why not have a splashtastic time and book a pool party at Chester-le-Street. The pool party includes floats, toys and games for children and adults to enjoy together. Our pool parties are looked after by fully-qualified lifeguards. For your safety every child must be accompanied by an adult.
